In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom.

Oh gosh.. I don't even know what the present holds for fandom. I'm logged in all the time but I feel so disconnected. Where is everyone?! As soon as I thought I was starting to understand tumblr it went up in flames. I don't like Twitter. Do you have to buy into Pillowfort? What is this Discord thing?? I'm just going to chill here in my little corner of DW.

I hope in the future we have a gold standard social site that combines the best of all platforms and is fan owned and fan run like the blessing that is AO3 for our fic. I hope fandom is a kind and gentle and weird community where we can all pull together and get along. I hope legislation doesn't run roughshod over us.
