Challenge #1 - Introduce yourself

Hello! I've been in fandom for about 15 years now, wow. I love binge-watching TV, seeing all the latest movies, and reading books! My blog is mostly about all these things.

Top 5 forever fandoms are Star Wars, Stargate, Batman, Lord of the Rings, & X-Men. I'm currently doing my annual New Year's marathon of Lord of the Rings! Many other fandoms catch my attention at any given time, especially if they include found family or time travel. Latest faves are The Old Guard and Shadowhunters.

I also love to read and write fanfic, rec fanfic, and vid! (My works are on AO3 here!) I'd love to talk about any of these things. Feel free to drop a comment :)

I have other friends also doing a LOTR marathon this weekend! I love when folk have traditions like that!

Shadowhunters really is a found family and there are some awesome characters there. I didn't read the books but I adored the TV show and was really bummed when they ended it. Le sigh.

The annual LOTR marathon is so rewarding. All these years later it stands up amazingly.

When Lorenzo said "It showed me family doesn't have to be something you're born into. Families can be made." 😭 I only watched the show too and I'm sad it's over but luckily there is lots of fic!
