the work of our knives will survive us
Sep. 4th, 2021 09:01 pmFinished Reading:
Gemina & Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. These were the two sequels to Illuminae and I actually liked them better which is rare for me. I almost always like the first book/movie/season of something best. Continued to enjoy the memo/chat/etc format and Gemina introduced badass tactician Hanna, who quickly became my favorite character, along with awesome illustrations by Marie Lu.
Dearly by Margaret Atwood. Poetry. Margaret Atwood always delivers some good words.
Now Reading:
The Wind's Twelve Quarters: Stories by Ursula K. Le Guin. I kind of jumped over this for the other things I finished and will probably continue to but it's easy to go back to because they're short stories.
Up Next:
I have Vicious by V. E. Schwab and a bunch of home improvement books because I might try some DIY. Pray for me.
