Dear Yuletide Author,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I adore all the fandoms and characters I've chosen so I'm sure I'll love whatever you create. If you'd like some general, completely optional guidelines for what I usually like/dislike in stories and potential prompts, please see below! Or if you have something already in mind, go for it!

Likes: Canon-divergence AUs, AUs, crossovers, happy or hopeful endings, humor, hurt/comfort, teams/friends being dysfunctionally functional, courting, ensemble cast, competence, successful crimes and crime solving

Dislikes: Dark fic, character death, explicit sex, underage, infidelity

Ocean's (Movies): Danny Ocean, Rusty Ryan, Saul Bloom, Reuben Tishkoff

Danny and Rusty are the dream team and I'd love anything with them either as BFFs or together romantically. I'd really like something pre-movies. There's a lot of references in the movies that could be fleshed out ("I still owe you for the thing with the guy in the place") and Saul and Reuben seem like they were basically Rusty and Danny's mentors which has a lot of comedic potential.

Maybe Saul and Reuben meet up at a casino and they get to commiserating about their proteges and either they're like 'these two kids can never meet' or 'you know they could actually balance each other out really well' and then there's yelling about the art gallery across the street having been robbed and, what do you know, Danny and Rusty just met and it's the beginning of a beautiful partnership and a lot of ulcers for Saul.

The Americans (TV 2013): Elizabeth Jennings, Philip Jennings

I live for the quiet love that grew between Elizabeth and Philip and their 'I'm so glad we survived this latest clusterfuck of a mission' hugs. I'd love to see more of that. Possibly tied into some backstory about what Gabriel told Philip about how Elizabeth had rejected a partner before him. Maybe that old potential partner has gone rogue and Elizabeth and Philip's latest mission is to stop him and it gets awkward ("So this is who you chose, huh?") and Philip proves it was the right decision.

Or I can practically feel this show getting ready to screw me over in the final season with a gritty, 'realistic' ending instead of the relatively happy ending I want so I would love that happy ending. Elizabeth and Philip go back to Russia at the end of season 4 like they were planning or they basically retire and stay in the U.S. attending Stan's barbecues and not doing missions.

Also, I feel like Stan is never going to find out that Philip and Elizabeth are spies which is an interesting direction for the show to take when usually shows hinge a finale or something on a reveal like that and then reset the next season on that change but anyway, I would like to see how Stan takes it if he ever finds out they're spies. Could be either through his CIA work, Philip deciding to tell him, or Philip or Elizabeth being forced to tell him for some reason like one of them is captured by law enforcement and the other needs his help for a prison break.

Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi | Spirited Away: Ogino Chihiro, Haku | Nigihayami Kohakunushi, Rin (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi)

Such a beautifully done movie. I love Chihiro's transformation from shrinking and fearful to a competent, brave heroine. What do her parents make of this sudden change in their daughter? How does it change how she fits (or doesn't fit) into her new school and community? Maybe something meditative and a little heart-wrenching.

I'd also love to see Chihiro going back to the spirit world to see Haku and Rin and have more adventures or either/both of them crossing to the modern world or somehow sending little gifts across worlds in remembrance of their friendship.

Again, thanks for writing for me :) Have fun! Don't stress! I'm sure I'll love whatever you're inspired to write!
