Date: 2019-03-08 08:01 am (UTC)FWIW, Premiere usually feels less intuitive for most people, but once you learn a few basics, it works great for simple vids... But it's also used professionally at the highest levels. It integrates much better with After Effects and Photoshop, which would be useful later on if you wanted to do more effects. I haven't used iMovie since many versions ago. I enjoyed cutting my first couple of vids on it, but I very quickly grew frustrated with its limitations.
So one has a moderately steeper learning curve but also a lot more room to grow.
