I finally found a show to binge-watch but it was too short! I'm already finished!

I remember watching Houdini & Doyle when it was actually on a few years ago. It was during summer when most shows are on hiatus so I don't know if people knew about it. It had extremely low viewership and was pretty much immediately cancelled which is a shame. I mean, I'm not going to say it's great television, but I found it very enjoyable television.

It's basically the X-Files if the X-Files was set in London in 1901 and featured Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle. They have the great buddy cop dynamic except that they're, you know, a magician and a writer, and their team is rounded out by Constable Adelaide Stratton, the only actual cop and designated owner of their one team braincell.

Anyway, there's lots to enjoy: Houdini constantly breaking into things, how very much ACD hates Sherlock Holmes, the period costumes (I die for the waistcoats), random cameos by other socially awkward famous people like Bram Stoker who may or may not be a vampire. This show was before it's time. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be streaming anywhere but it was worth the $15 on Amazon for me.

What's everyone else watching?
