Don't let them fade away

Opportunity for me to use one of the new Clone Wars icons I made for

I'm glad I was almost done watching this show because apparently it's leaving Netflix on April 7th!
Season 5: Tie in to Rogue One. Man, why did they have to kill off Steela? I'd like some Rogue One AU fic where she lives and things go better all around please.
I love the younglings and I'm extremely worried about where they will be in the future when Anakin Does The Thing.
I still don't understand how Maul survived being CUT IN HALF but I was rooting for him over the Death Watch guy. But then he went and killed Satine :( And first she had to watch how quickly all her people turned away from pacifism. I have a lot of feelings about this arc.
AHSOKA! I was spoiled for this arc but it still hit me hard. What the heck, Jedi Council? You literally called Ahsoka and Anakin back from wherever to investigate the bombing, meaning she was like off planet when it even happened?, and told them people would try to obstruct them and then when Ahsoka became a suspect you didn't find that overly convenient and just expel her? Also, wtf, Barriss? Not that she doesn't have a point about the Jedi becoming soldiers instead of being peacekeepers but how does a bombing protest that? Especially when you then blame it on someone else. (Your friend! Who you don't even apologize to after you get caught!)
Season 6: FIVES! He tried so hard to avert the catastrophe we know going into it is going to happen. I did enjoy his friendship with the medical droid who had one of my favorite lines: 'Look what you did. I can't believe what you did.' I enjoy when they do call back lines where someone other than the original character says the line and I was trying to remember where this was from. It sounded like something C3PO would say, but then I Googled it and of course it's from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
So I guess now I need to find out where I can watch Rebels.
AMNESIAAAAA. Dramatic dueling because of your weird honor and making your friends worry to death about you. Honestly these books have so many of the tropes I love and there are a lot of feelings. I enjoyed them immensely. Also, the dragons are about to revolutionize the fields of mathematics and finance and I am here for it.
A thing which will hopefully be ready to be a treat for

Date: 2019-04-05 01:25 pm (UTC)There are a few Steela!lives fic that I've run across that were pretty good. I will endeavor to find them when I'm not at work.
My heart belongs to Ahsoka. I love her character so hard.
If you get an opportunity to read the tie-in novel Ahsoka I highly recommend it. It's set between TCW and Rebels. I checked mine out eBook version from the library, so hopefully it's easy to get ahold of.
I don't have cable so I purchased Rebels on Amazon. I don't think it's on Netflix, nor will it likely be with the Disney streaming thingy in the works. I tried the first couple episodes on YouTube but wasn't able to find them all at the time.

Date: 2019-04-06 09:59 pm (UTC)I looked up Rebels on Amazon and Star Wars pricing continues to baffle me. It's always so much less to get physical copies of media than streaming. I see Thrawn on the covers and I enjoy Thrawn so that's a plus toward watching it. To be decided!

Date: 2019-04-08 01:46 pm (UTC)FYI - He's a fan, if that helps.
I bought the DVD sets and bits of the streaming of season 4 because I couldn't wait for the DVD's. Amazon does a season pass thing that is sometimes comparable to the DVD cost? I haven't looked at it in a while and the price on DVD does drop sometimes.
