Season Finales

smilebackwardsIt's time for season premieres but I'm still catching up on season finales.
WHAT. THE. FUCK. kind of anticlimactic, climactic ridicULOUSNESS.
Ahem. Anyway, I realize if they want to have more seasons there is only so much mileage you can get out of the 'asteroid headed for Earth' storyline before the asteroid either hits Earth or you heroically save Earth but this was a very weird plot twist that I did not anticipate. Bravo?
On the other hand, I would have been down for a season of the societal after effects of the asteroid not hitting Earth, interspersed with the hilarity of the Ultra Rich who hijacked the spaceship to save themselves instead of allowing it to be used to save THE ENTIRETY OF HUMANITY and the fact that they can probably no longer come back to Earth without extreme censure and ridicule at the least.
THIS EPISODE WAS SO EMOTIONAL I LOVE THEM. "She's my best friend." He touches the banister because he can't bear to touch her. THEY ARE TWO PEOPLE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER. I would've been happy with this as a series ending but apparently it was renewed so presumably we're going to get a season in London. I'm ready.
I finally started watching this series this year and I love it. I am a little sad that it veered away from the original bounty hunting premise, but Dutch is awesome and I love her and Johnny's friendship and I'm 100% behind it also becoming romantic. I'm not into the Dutch/D'avin the show apparently wants me to be into. Somehow I don't expect them to let me keep the Dutch/Johnny from this weird memory wipe AU we're going into season 5 with but THEY SHOULD LET ME KEEP IT.
