I'M SO INTO THESE! I've burned through the first two and I have 3 and 4 on my Kindle and 5, 6 & 7 on hold at the library. I don't often eschew my usual TV and fic reading in favor of books anymore but I totally am for these.

There are a lot of dragons and feelings and action and I really like the writing style. I also enjoy when politeness and social conventions and politics play a large part in stories like they do here, probably partly because I'm horrible at understanding them in real life.

Anyway, Temeraire and Laurence and their bond is wonderful and things constantly go in new and fascinating directions and I'm going to go open Black Powder War now.

I haven't made much headway on my latest fic because I've been reading instead of writing, but I like most of what I have so far and I may be able to convert it to a treat for someone in
