More Star Wars

There was a severe lack of Obi-Wan in the episodes at the end of season 2 and beginning of season 3! Episode commentary:
- 2x19 The Zillo Beast Strikes Back - I enjoyed the (God)zillo beast and his classic shot on the top of a building in Coruscant and also that this arc highlighted Mace a bit.
- 2x21 R2 Come Home - I don't really care about Boba Fett so I found this arc mostly boring but I liked R2D2 being a combination of Lassie and Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone. Although, by the episode title, maybe I should have also gotten some ET vibes?
- 3x01 Clone Cadets - Shaak Ti! I got a little confused when this went non-linear from season 1 and I DO NOT APPRECIATE learning to love clones and getting their backstory only to realize that most of them have already been killed. Who approved this??
- 3x02 ARC Troopers - Some good Obi-Wan fight scenes
- 3x04 Sphere of Influence - My girl Senator Chuchi has become a confident badass!
- 3x09 Hunt for Ziro - Hello to my new BrOTP of Obi-Wan and Quinlan Vos. They are hilarious together. Obi-Wan: quickly and competently dispatching a giant swamp snake, Quinlan: "Are you done messing around?". Obi-Wan: "We must be cautious.", Quinlan: slices door with his lightsaber and kicks it open, Obi-Wan: appalled "Somebody lives here!"
- 3x16 Altar of Mortis - I mostly found this arc repetitive and boring but the one part where Obi-Wan wrecks their ship backseat steering to avoid a giant tower and then is like "I didn't think you saw it" to Anakin was gold.
- 3x18 The Citadel, 3x19 Counterattack & 3x20 Citadel Rescue - I love a good escape from an impenetrable prison. Although they should have left Tarkin behind. And Echo, no! Only Fives is left of Domino squad. Also, if I wasn't lazy, I'd gif the bit where Anakin is like "We'll be fine if Obi-Wan is on time" and Obi-Wan is like "We'll be fine if Anakin is on time" and then Anakin shows up like "Sorry I'm late".
- 3x22 Wookie Hunt - Most Dangerous Game trope. Destroy them, Ahsoka! And I enjoyed how she called out the usual BS where the hunting person is like 'OMG, how could you possibly have been so inhumane as to kill my son who was trying to kill you after we kidnapped you to hunt you!' Then, Chewy and Wookies to the rescue, yay!
On to season 4.
The only place I'm writing this is in my head but since I watched Phantom Menace and Clone Wars back to back, my brain is like 'wouldn't it be cool to imagine Qui-Gon in Obi-Wan's Clone Wars general role and Obi-Wan in Ahsoka's Padawan/commander role'? Honestly, I think Qui-Gon would have peaced out of the Jedi Order before becoming a general but maybe he sticks around because he can keep Obi-Wan in his sphere of influence as his Master. Otherwise, the Council would Knight and make 18 year old Obi-Wan a general in like a week. They could run relief missions but there would still be a ton of action because they have to get through blockades and fighting for that.
