I made a vid!

I made a vid! For crossovercoffee. Two of this round's prompts were Parker from Leverage (character) and using the ventilation system to get around (trope). Using the vents to get around is of course a thing that Parker does all the time so there were some good clips. These are from 1x08 The Bank Job (technically a money deposit drop and not a vent but close enough), 2x07 The Two Live Crew Job, 3x03 The Inside Job & 3x11 The Rashomon Job. There are probably more instances but I couldn't think of them offhand and I currently only own the first 3 seasons.

I was able to use VLC to get clips off my DVDs and I feel very powerful! There may be more ambitious future vids! This was also 100% easier once I realized the version of iMovie I had was somehow from 2009 and I downloaded a newer version that is much more user friendly.

The music is actually straight up Leverage soundtrack! I was trying to find something good and then I was like, you know what, they already did it perfectly. I love her smirk too lol. I was cutting down the clips to the vent parts and for that one I was like no, have to keep that lead in.

This was so fun to make!! Do you have any advice about posting elsewhere like AO3 or tumblr? Just stick the embed code into a post again?

I think you can embed vimeo on tumblr as well? I haven't tried. It's the one place i use my YouTube version because it's so easy.

Here's an example of how I post on tumblr random exchange vid but I rarely get any traction over there so I've kind of stopped bothering.

ETA: Oh, and I do AO3 as well. I crosspost and link in each post. DW & AO3 are my "home" for vids though.
