The Letter of Marque by Patrick O'Brian. Time to be pirates (privateers), baby!! This was a fun one.
The Thirteen Gun Salute by Patrick O'Brian. I appreciate that this is the 13th book in the series, matching the title. I also appreciate that they hire an accountant for the ship based on his violin playing ability. More political/spy drama, more shipwrecks, and yet I do not tire of these plot elements at all. I may finish the series this year at this rate of reading.
I've mostly been watching the Olympics and it is great. I love Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky and pommel horse guy and everyone else who is running, jumping, shooting, surfing, biking, throwing things, etc.
